Maiden of a Darkness Shining

Part Three – A Nearling Arises

“Heather,” said Molly, drawing closer. “Look at the pot…”

The GlissenCauldron’s light was swelling, surging, becoming increasingly brighter. The girls stood captivated, their faces full of the glow.

Molly shrieked and shrank away as, from within the large vessel, a blinding light flashed and dimmed.

“Molly…?”

“What?” The cringing girl dared to open her eyes.

There in front of the pair, looming large—far larger than life—over the lip of the ‘Cauldron was a beautiful face in a paper-thin veneer of golden light.

    • Hi, Donna! Aren’t YOU simply the GREATEST! Lol And I’m so glad you’re excited for Book Two!

Okay, the story itself is finished. Now, it is simply a matter of ironing out all the wrinkles, buttoning all the buttons, straightening the tie, and smoothing the lapels. That said, I promise Book Two of Evermore wears a top hat and tails, along with a white carnation (extremely biased opinion on my part, but I am truly in total belief of it).

I feel that Evermore Two is epic, unpredictable, unconventional, impactful, inspired, imaginative, magical, and far-reaching. And that’s just for starters. Like its predecessor, TimeLight Awakenings, think: moving painting.

And there is so much more to share with you! BUT you must wait, I’m afraid, until I’m finished editing my work. And yet, in the meantime, the good news is that you can see illustrations posted here from time to time while I set about the task of readying Book Two of Evermore for readership.

So, thank you so much for asking.

When Book Two does come out, I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed envisioning the story in all its twisted complexity. I can’t help but think Evermore is an extension of my soul, drawn up without restriction or reservation straight from the creative pool itself.
